Dear Gloria and John, My wife and I would like to express our sincerest thanks and appreciations for making our stay a wonderful and exonerating experience. An exotic suite with beautiful mural décor and poetic verses breezes in the breathtaking moments that were had by both of us. Lakebreeze is indeed a home away from home and plus much more. Wonderful B and B in a quaint town within a drive of The Falls. The room was spectacular and the service was perfect. Gloria took the time to map out places to visit in the area, had menus on hand and recommendations for hidden gems in the town, and was accommodating to our timeline. Hi Gloria, It feels like it must be time to return....We have a house in the country. We have a cottage on a lake. BUT...V A C A T I O N is spelled LAKEBREEZE. The only respite we had this summer, and even until now, was the time we spent at LakeBreeze. It was soooo luxurious to take the time to relax on the veranda, walk along the canal, enjoy the neighbourhood restaurants or just sit and visit. The concert in the park was enjoyable. We just love the Big Band sounds and those young musicians are very talented, it’s good to see them getting a chance to play and sing wonderful music. The tall ships were very interesting this year, particularly the one crewed exclusively by women. They are such stately ships. With the weather being so hot this summer, it was a pleasure just to sit and veg on the veranda and see the world come to us (particularly the Classic Cars.)
I hope you have us booked in for the Canal Days of 2011—similar to this year (Thurs to Mon—5 days.) I’d ask whether there was anything exciting coming up in Port Colborne, but I usually find that you know lots of exciting things on the horizon. Please let me know. When we chose LakeBreeze to stay, we saw from the pictures how the place looked. But we were TOTALLY blown away at how much more wonderful it was in reality! Everything in the suite had a great artistic flare from the 3D crafts on the wall to the layout of the towels in the bathroom. The place was extremely clean, we even had dishes and utensils to cook and eat with plus a washer and dryer for our dirty laundry. The host, Gloria, was fabulous! She was not only knowledgable of Port Colborne but of the Niagara Region in general. Her breakfasts were great too and gave us the kick we needed to wake up and get our day started (we are NOT morning people :) ) She told us about Nickel Beach, Long Beach and had a wealth of information about the do's and don'ts of the area. In general, it's a great place to get away for a weekend and just relax with lots of stuff to do outdoors if you're into that, if not, it's still a great place to just hang out and relax with friends and loved ones. Stayed in the beautiful and spacious Heritage Suite with my 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters. Gloria couldn't have been more accommodating. The breakfasts were fabulous. Gloria thought of everything. Thank you for the opportunity to experience a glimpse of Port Colborne as it was in days gone by. You have done a marvellous job of restoring this home. We enjoyed our stay immensely and appreciate your attention to detail as pertains to the comforts of your guests. Landed in Canada on July 17th. Manitoulin Island was great! Algonquin Park astonishing! Six Nations powwow super! Niagara Falls inspiring! And next trip we have again a nice place to stay in Port Colborne. Thanks you very much for the excellent hosting!

Dan and I really enjoyed the LakeBreeze. By far the most beautiful suite we have stayed in. The water in the fridge was a nice touch for cyclists. The location was very convenient. Thanks again for the lovely accommodations. Michelle
